ALL ABOUT DR. MILLER
This my fourth year as the Proud Principal of Hannan Academy. I served two years as an Assistant Principal at Hannan prior to my appointment as Principal. I served as Assistant Principal at Double Churches Middle for four years, and prior to that, I taught for three years at Martin Luther King Elementary. I have over 23 years in education and 10 years as a school administrator in Muscogee County. I have taught English in several school districts and on all grade levels to include elementary, middle, high, and college. I believe in servant leadership and the pursuit of excellence! I am also a former police officer with Albany Police Department; therefore, I prioritize safety! I am so excited about this school year as I partner with my Hannan team and families to move our Hawk scholars to the next level ready for any challenge.

Hawks Soar To Greater Heights
We strive to better our students through educational experiences both in and out of the classroom. The mission of Hannan Magnet Academy's PBIS program is to create a place where students and staff feel safe to tackle obstacles and accomplish all of their goals. We offer a variety of opportunities to help students be the best version of themselves, while having some fun along the way. We have monthly recognitions for both students and staff, PBIS quarterly celebrations, and we have an amazing store that students get to visit and purchase items by using their hard earned PBIS points. We incentivize and reward our students for making great choices, and we demonstrate love and compassion for them each day by recognizing their many accomplishments!
